We’re thinking between $63,000 and $73,000 for starting salary range, but depends on experience and includes a built-in bump based on initial performance. We have excellent benefits. Tourism Event Planner, Great Falls Montana Tourism

Great Falls Montana Tourism is eager to bring a creative visionary onto our team that will plan large-scale signature events, during off-peak occupancy that will bring attendees from across the world! It’s a big task and there is more: You’ll also be asked to connect with established events that show great promise and offer assistance in enhancing the event.

The core of the job is to develop an annual event strategy and budget then plan, facilitate, and manage logistics for all events in the annual strategy, including budgets, sponsors, contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, marketing materials, and independently troubleshoot day of event issues.

Construction Manager, BHE Montana

The Construction Manager plans, budgets and directs short and long-term electrical generating plant construction, including renewables, and related transmission facilities, in a manner that is safe, cost effective, and timely. Projects may involve multiple site locations and involve millions in expenditure level. Supports all construction activities associated with new and existing generation projects. Supports project budget updates, direct oversight of contractors and consultants which support site development and construction activities throughout the projects’ lifecycle.  Administers the associated contracts, ensures site compliance with environmental and other permits, regulatory requirements, safety requirements, and quality of the development and construction. This position maintains key business, public and stakeholder relationships and includes interaction with landowners, local, state and government employees, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders. Coordinates with other departments to complete development and construction tasks.

Project Engineer, BHE Montana

The Project Engineer completes technical work and directs others in the planning, designing, development, procurement and construction of electric generation projects, and additions, changes, or maintenance to projects. The position directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects of moderate size and complexity. Accountable for project engineering decisions as Owners Engineer or oversees contractors who provide Owners Engineering on projects. Review engineering design completed by design engineers and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors to assure the design meets the project requirements. Provide and manage technical support for capital projects from conceptual development to completion. This position will be focused on optimizing overall operations by supporting operations and maintenance activities with excellence, accountability, and best practice-based solutions.
