Great Falls College MSU opened its new Early Learning Center on September 14, adding a flexible childcare option for student-parents while creating a hands-on training environment for future early-childhood professionals.
The center is designed to help reduce one of the practical barriers that can make completing college difficult for parents. It gives priority to college students, faculty and staff, with some community enrollment available as space allows. The facility can accommodate up to 80 children at full capacity and includes occasional-care options for enrolled students who do not need a traditional full-time schedule.
The Early Learning Center also serves as a teaching laboratory for students in Great Falls College’s Early Childhood Education program. Students can apply classroom lessons in a working childcare setting with guidance from experienced educators—building practical skills and confidence before entering the workforce.
